Fair enough. But what about a time when there wasn't any buzz in the air about a truce. There has to be a gang or two out there with Ajax-like thinking being the norm. Also, if 1 gang, like the Warriors, hypothetically wasted a Riff and started a feud and the Riffs invaded Coney and the Warriors were taken. Which, BTW wouldn't be that easy since the Warriors were on there home soil. But, if that happened, oppurtunistic gangs like the Rogues or whoever else could step in and do some damage to the Riffs. Or what about the Turnbulls? How much Riff would be left to defend against the full strength Turnbulls after a war with the Warriors?
