Well, the problem with Xanadu, is that it ruins it for othe rold classic musicals.  SOme people need to realize that when people dislike Xanadu, it not because they hate old time musicals, it because this one was done bad.  I really admire the classics, like "West Side Story", or "Grease", but Xanadu, was jsut not as good.  After all, Beck does state in an interview, that The Warriors, opened up a lot of doors for me, which Xanadu closed.  So he even said so.
