I know, its incredibly annoying, Theres only like 3 or 4 "Emo" Songs that i listen to, Yet i get a sly jibe about liking them. Im more of an Indie/Alt Fan myself, But so what if i like a few of them songs. If a songs good ill like it.

One thing i cant stand is that pleasurerooms/Dance/Rave Music. Gives me a headache.

Except Prodigy - Firestarter, if youd count that as a rave tune

Okay guys. Let's stop please. I'll just state what happend, and we'll be done. I read his post that called the band "Panic! At The Disco" Punk, which bothered me because I love punk music, and I dislike bands like Panic! At the Disco as a personal opinion, so I called him on it. I never said I dislike him or the way he picks his music because of it, I am not being a hypocrite of being different, infact, I encourage him to keep listening to his music, I just wish people would understand that if the music they like is considered "emo", then it is emo music. Not that there is anything wrong with that music, but that's what it is. I'm a traditional punk fan, which means if I see "punk" written there, I expect The Dead Kennedys, The Sex Pistols, or The Exploited. When I see Panic! At the Disco, I see a rip off of the music I so very love and enjoy. That's why I got upset with it. But I'm the first to say, I want this to end. As for others stepping in, it's good to have your opinion, but to be honest I think this should have been worked out between Copperhead and I. Either way though, it's over now, let's all be the happy little Warriors addicts we were before.

Okay im putting my final point in aswell.  Im glad you want to finsih this aswell, I agree this should be over with, But also i wouldnt say emo is a rip off of punk, More of an offspring, Music develops over years and songs and bands can fit into multiple genres, cause lets face it, they do have a Slight [glow=red,2,300]Slight[/glow] hint of punk in them.

but yes i agree, this is over now, No more.

Lets all be peace loving, warrior loving friends

Song : "New York's Alright, If You Like Saxophones"
Artist : Fear
Album : Live.. For The Record
Genre : Punk
Released : 1991
Song Length : 2:08
Why You Like It : It's unique, in a way only Fear could pull off. With the harsh vocals, backed by booming drum beats, not to mention guitars and bass carrying a rythym you have to continue listening to.
Best Bit : '1:04 to 1:16', when the bassist (Lorenzo Buhne) sqeals on a saxophone, it almost sounds like he breaks it.
Favourite Line(s) : "New York's Alright, If You Like Drugs in The Doorway, New York's Alright, If You Want To Freeze To Death."

Song: My Sharona
Artist: The Knack
Album: I don't know, I'm guessing either 'The Knack', or 'My Sharona',
Genre: Classic Rock
Length: 4:01
Fav Bit:
Ooo my little pretty one, pretty one
when you gonna give me some time Sharona
Will you make my motor run, motor run,
honey coming off of the line Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
Always get it, up from the touch, of the younger kind
My My My Sharona
Come a little closer huh, be a hon
Close enough to look in my eyes Sharona
Keep a little mystery, get to me
Running down the length of my thigh Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
Always get it up, from the touch, of the younger kind
My My My Sharona
When you gonna give to me, give to me
Is it just a mater of time Sharona
Here's a trip to destiny, to destiny
Or is it just a game in my mind Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
Always get it up from the touch of the younger kind My My My Sharona

Your saying what I'm exactly thinking man ;). Whenever I tell people I'm into punk music or something like that, They think I listen to Green Day, or one of those bands.

And I actually don't think I've ever heard someone mention The Dead Kennedys or The Exploited, which are 2 of my favourite bands. I love The Exploited's song "Sex and Violence" and "Kill the poor" by The Dead Kennedys. True punk songs.
We're gonna make it back. We came this far and we're gonna make it the rest of the way!

Song: Shot Down In Flames
Artist: AC/DC
Genre: Classic Rock
Relese date: 1979 (good year)
Favorite Bit:
Single's bar, got my eye on a hottie,
Hanging out everywhere
She might be straight
She minds on her money
I really dont care, no
Said, baby, youre driving me crazy
Layed it out on the line.
When a guy with a chip on his shoulder said
Don't try buddy shes mine
Oh!

Shot down in flames!

Not sure if those lyrics are right. I got 'em off some lyric site. But thats my favorite part.

Song : Star Spangled Bannered (not a typo)
Artist : Iron Curtain
Why You Like It : It's the American national anthem set to the tune of the USSR national anthem, with various insulting lyrics tossed in occasionally. What's there not to like? :P
