O Brother Where Art Thou is kind of like The Warriors, because it is based on Greek Legend. Three prisoners trying to make it home... I read somewhere it's based on Tales of Ulysses. The Sirens (bathing women) were like The Lizzies, trying to lure in the prisoners. The lynch mob after them was like The Riffs.

You know when I quoted adam88 post, while I was writing about Ulysses I've wondered if Yurick Sol had maybe based his story on Odissey (Tales of Ulysses). Cause The Warriors just seem Ulysses and his Crew( about 30+ men). So do you remember where you read that it's based on Odissey?
I'd be really curious to read it, it seems very interesting... and shows us as 3200 years ago as today some values have stayed unchanged!!! 8)
... and another interesting similitude... Ulysses will come back ITACA, an island, The Warriors: Coney ISLAND!!! 8)

Last year, our class had to do planting, it was so boring, until.... Here's the dialogue between me, and our school groundsman:
School Groundsman: Can you dig that hole in the ground?
Me: Pardon?
School Groundsman: Can you dig that?
Me: What?
He was now angry and had grown up to a shouting voice:
School Groundsman: CAN YOU DIG IT!!!???

Sorry for double posting but my last post was quoting someone.
Ok i got another 1- A few days ago i was at a friends engament party that they held at a rugby club place.
Now there was drinks being provided for free,(Alcholo, Wine, Soft Drinks) now at the table i was sitting at there was a few empty beer bottles on the table so a guy came up and took them away.
Now as he picked them up he stuck his fingers through the oppening of the bottles so they would stay on his fingers. at this point he was making a clutter and started to move the fingers that the beer bottles were on. at this point he was doing the famous scene where Luther has the 3 milk bottles on his fingers and chanting 'Warrrriorsss Comee outt to plaaaaayyyyy'. (except he wasnt chanting warriors)
So i ask him to leave the bottles on the table so he dose accordingly anbd leaves. So i get the bottles and put them on my fingers and start chanting 'Warrrriorsss Comee outt to plaaaaayyyyy' infront of the people on the table i was at. The people who had seen the movie had abit of a chuckle, so im happy.
Any-more guys, keep em coming!!

Another reminding thing, I had forgotten... even if I posted it in the topic "Ever used any Warriors lines in real life" (Proving Grounds), is:
some of my town's discos D.J./V.J. calling people 4 dancing, use the line "Warriors come out to play!"
It's awesome, and it's unbelievable that there always is someone doesn't know where that line is from... I mean by now everybody knows the movie, or has watched it at least 1 time... and "Warriors come out.....!" is very well-known!!! 8)

Theres a street in my town called Beck lane. Straight across from it is a pub called The Fox and crown.
Anytime im standing on a train platform. walking to work in the summer, wearing my warriors vest.
Anytime i see a woman on her own, sat on a park bench.
