Would Ajax have survived in the cells?

Something else to contemplate; now that the conclave was a bust, would the other gang members that are locked up, give a damn if Cyrus was killed.  Some of those in the cells might blame their misfortune of being banged up, on Cyrus.  They might even think it was some ploy by the riffs to get them all together at once to make them an easier target for the police.  Anger doesn't make you think straight. 
Its only because the riffs are the biggest gang, and the other gangs on the outside think they'll get some sort of reward, that they are all after the warriors. 

This didn't come across in the film, but in the book, there was a lot of racial annimosity towards ismael (cyrus).  Other gangs hated him.

In abnormal situations, unlikly alliances are formed, so who's to say that Ajax would be on his own?

That's it! The Rogues killed Cyrus because he was black and the guy Luther was talkng to on the phone was probably the grand poobah of the KKK. Did I spell poobah right? Ha,ha....but seriously it makes more sense than the conspiracy with the police and mafia. The police and mafia theory sounds too much like the JFK Conspiracy...ha,ha
