Best movie ending surprises

I have to give it to Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects, I wasn't expecting that.

My vote goes to "Lucky Number Slevin", Josh Hartnett and Bruce Willis... Slevin and Goodkat...
... the Boss and the Rabbi's faces when...
... and the Detective story... yeah what a ending!!!
Then, in the airport when Mr Goodkat tells Slevin that he knew about the girl and that he is definitely the best... WOW!!!  8)

 ::)I chose Silent hill. I wouldn't say its the best movie ending but it was certainly confusing when I first saw it. The ending gave me a strange feeling like I can feel them just sitting there by themselves in the fog. Its like I had a connection with them.

I'd say Gigli. No way did I realize that it was not a movie but instead, a cleverly disguised trip to Hell.

 True all movies can be a trip to hell if they're boring.

Scurvy Dog wrote: Sometimes surprise endings are anything but a surprise, simply because it's been done so often. Still, there are some endings that surprised me:

1. The Sixth Sense
2. The Village
3. Flash Gordon. Still waiting for that implied sequel. (Also, keep in mind I was 11 when I saw it.)
4. Popeye. No way did I think he'd beat Bluto. Okay I was just kidding for that one.
5. Phone Booth
6. Joyride
7. The Bourne Supremacy. Not so much a surprise, but someone in the final scene was surprised.

I won't spoil these for those of you who haven't seen these movies, but I did like these endings.
You know, The Sixth Sense and The Village...
... yeah, 100% agree.
Anyway The Sixth Sense really is a well done movie from the first to the last scene!!!
About The Village I just like only the ending... really astonishing!!! The rest of the movie, IMO, is boring!!! 8)
