Why are some scenes deleted?

The boardwalk scene at the beginning was really cool,why was it deleted?
Also I heard theres a scene at a police station that showed Ajax,and Cleon was there in a
wheelchair.I havent seen that one though.

As mentioned many times before, the daylight scene was axed because he wanted it to be all set at night and have the sunrise depict a false sense of safety and bring a conclusion to the story.  The deleted beginning takes away some of the mystery of the characters.

As for the other scene you mentioned; That never existed.  Cleon was killed at the conclave.  For the sake of debate, even if cleon was still alive, he would be hospitalised for a long period and be in no fit state to be wheeling around police stations.

Is it possible the police station scene was cut,and never made it to any special editions or directors cut? I dont know how anyone has ever seen it then,and I agree that Cleon if he survived would have been more likely on a stretcher than a wheelchair.Thanks for your response

yes but there's also that scene where all of the remaining warriors are in brown suits at cleons funeral at the end. its cool because even their suits have the warbird on the back

It's probably best they deleted this scene, lest we dabate for years the color and width of the lapels

yes but you get a better look at the warriors suits when the groomsmen (cochise, vermin, snow, rembrandt, cowboy) are wearing them at swan and mercy's wedding. ajax, in a brief one minute scene, is shown filling out a wedding card in prision.

Still, the all-time best sequence is when Cyrus' daughter, Miley, sings Ave Maria, during the nuptials...

I liked that one where Ajax finally comes to the conclusion that he acts macho and accuses others of being gay just to cover up his own closeted homosexuality, causing him to break down weeping. Very touching, Oscar worthy scene.

I was disappointed when the scene where the cop that killed fox ends up in the same cell as Ajax.  The look on Ajax's face when the cell door snaps shut is awsome!
