Finally saw this and thought it was ok for an action flick. I wasn't expecting much of a plot but got plenty of action. I only thought that the movie was missing Van Dam, Chuck Norris, and Wesley Snipes.
It's a different kind of film to expendables. Its tone is more of a mix between lethal weapon, wanted smokin aces.
Expendables tried to recapture the 80's action hero era whereas Red is closer to those buddy cop movies of that era.

Laziness is a skill that must be practiced everyday.
Actually Red was made as a comic book before the movie, i liked the Expendables i would have liked to see a little more actio and maybe van damme but lets be fair we all want a little bit more from our films, first time i watched this movie i got goosebumps with the shotgun scene and loved the knife throwing shizz, right up my street
I love to watch Sylvester a lot.he is my favorite action star and I also like Garry.both are perfect action star. The Expendables movie is awesome to watch out and I like this flick a lot.
Just saw part 2 this past weekend. I thought it was great. It had a lot of jokes referring to the actors. If you like action and can suspend reality and plot then this is a must see.
