I've noticed that quite a few of you are loading up your signatures with loads of pictures / animations.
Please keep your signature to text (like myself or The Fox) or a single static image (like Tantive 7) where images should be no more than 500px wide else it affects the framing of the page.
Feel free to express yourselves through your avatars else I might have to change how the signatures work!!
so no more animated gifs in our signature? Or can we have them still but just cant be to rediculously big in file size? My ajax boxing is 182 kb and the ajax/fury is 312kb. The total width is less than 500px. Is that ok or should I remove them or try to make them even smaller?
At last my old eyes can be rested, I was beginning to get headaches.
Saying that some of the animated gifs were pretty cool, maybe we could have a seperate page displaying them so people can have the option of downloading them and saving them.
I think if you want an animation, you can have one either in your signature or as your avatar. It's just looking a bit like a disco at the moment and can get quite distracting. You could use one of Kartoon's animated gifs in your sig if you have a static avatar for example. They also take up a lot of room, if someone makes a post of a few words, you still have to scroll past all the images and flashing lights. We'll see how this goes ...
I changed my avatar to a static image and made ajax boxing smaller, the ajax/fury animated gif I replaced with a punks fight I just made, what ya think?
how do i post a signature here? i am well known about HTML and the forum codes - but i am assuming that i am forbidden to post sigs here until i create more posts or is there a time limit after i became a newbie?

just go up to profile and in the signature box use at the end.
