Fox gets no love
On the Ultimate Directors Cut of The Warriors when i was watching the special
feature when they were naming the actors Fox or Thomas G. Waites wasen't included. Then when they were showing when Bobby Max talking and each charcter costumes Fox agian wasent involed. The only time they discuss him is when Walter Hill talks about how they couldn't get along. This could be the Work of Walter i think. I just wanted to point it out.
Thoughts?

Walter Hill is a jerk and can't overlook a disagreement.
Re: Fox gets no love
When he walked off the movie Thomas G. Waites probably broke his contractual agreement with the film which would prevent him from being involved with any future endeavors involving the Warriors. But at the same time, yeah, it seems like Walter Hill just can't get over it.

Re: Fox gets no love
yeah it is real lame when actors/directors can't just get along for an anniversary special or dvd commentary. I think what Harley said makes the most sense. I'm probably alone in my love for cheezy teen drama here, but when 90210 was coming to the end of it's 10 year run, thay had a sorta reunion special, looking back at episodes... that the character Brenda Walsh was omitted from. Not that that she just wasn't there, but they seemed to cut her out of all the clips she was in, from the older episodes. Luckily though they had her in on the next major reunion show, so there is still hope for the Fox

Wow, I never even noticed that while I was watching the credits. That's cold.

Re: Fox gets no love
Waites was completely miscast in this thing to begin with, IMO. And it was completely unprofessional of him to walk off the set in the middle of production. It obviously meant they had to drastically rewrite the script, shoot additional scenes, etc. Hill had a right to be pissed. So, no, Waites doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the rest of the cast.

We can only speculate. It's easy to tell Walter to get over it but who knows what was really said. Perhaps Walter is holding a misplaced grudge but without the facts, how can you make a judgement. Let me ask you this, which side did you take in the big Van Halen/David Lee Roth split? :-k

Re: Fox gets no love
totally agreewith you emissary. Maybe Tom decided not to participate in the documentary himself...he was the one that walked during filming. Anyway, I watch those specials like THS or Behind the Music, and those celebs hold grudges for decades, til they're too old to remember what the fight was over.
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage...
