The sport that is most popular around my area is Basketball. There's a court just up the street from my place, and everytime I go by, and the weather is nice, there's always about 16 teenage guys up there playing a game of Basketball.

I live in Barnsley and the most popular sprt here is football (soccer to the guys across the pond) but rugby is probably the next big sport and I love to play and watch both

Around here is Cricket, Rugby League and football (soccer)
all good games, I support them. But to be honest cricket just seems like a waste of time to me, sorry if there are any fans :badgrin:

Everyone here loves Baseball we play at recess, lunch, after school we even get together for a few hours on saturday to play

Oh yes, I forgot all about Soccer, or Football to some of you here. It's also a sport that is quite popular around here, but I don't really see many people my age around here playing it, I think it's a sport that the young kids are into. But I do enjoy playing it, out of the few sports that I will play.
