Hey great fin Fox! You never cease to amaze me! Looking at that map it actually looks like what I imagined it would look like in the book rather than in the move, 'cause In the book it talks about them crossing the road instead of the way we see in the movie. Again well done! Karma for you.

How would the gangs be seated in there, is there a spiral walkway all the way down to the bottom it?

Yes. I might go. I do live close to Coney so it wont really be a problem. I will be so happy if i do. If i dont go i will be really really sad. Who else is going in 2009?

The conclave scene was definitely not filmed at 79thst. (the boat basin cafe now)
My NYC apt. is pretty near there. That space is WAY smaller than you think. I believe it was actually filmed up around 104th st. which is the Hudson Beach cafe.
Similar but VERY different in space.

I hear ya Fox but I think they got mixed up. Do Google Earth up to 104th and riverside and U will see the giant stairs on either side.

The giveaway is the boat basin cafe is smaller, completely round and doesnt have the stairs that U see in the flick.
