Origination Date: January 1, 1978
History: Led by Sahaladin, the Crimsons formed on New Year's Day, 1978. The gang was actually made up of 3 different smaller crews, such as Albanian Boys, The Funky Arabs, and The Free Palestine Movement. They came together in East N.Y., deciding to put their petty differences aside, and join forces to create one super gang. Before the merger, the smaller crews were getting jumped constantly by other rival ethnic gangs. After the merger, the Crimsons took over a huge chunk of their area, and called it the "Arab Sector", pushing out many rival factions, crews, and unorganized posse's. With a street family of nearly 115 active members, they are still considered pretty mid-size, in regards to the other gangs, however, in East N.Y., they are a serious threat to the establishment. Many native Italian, Black, and Puerto Rican gangs who also call East N.Y. home, have had to move their expansion turfs as far as they could from the Arab Sector, losing expansionist turf, and even some power in the process. The Crimsons, after using much violence to take over as much turf as they can, now control several blocks of the west side of East New York, and slowly have begun a turf expansion into the east part of Bed-Sty, this has led to some of their allies like the Black Spades and Zulu's, to rethink their loose alliance with the Crimsons.

Initiation Procedure: To become a member of the Crimsons, a person must fight 3-4 other members, in what is called the "Sahaladin Line". If he can make it to 3 minutes, without giving up, running off, or forfeiting, he will be inducted as an offical Crimson member.

Stong Points: travel in packs, ready to throwdown at anytime with anyone who threatens them, skilled fighters, and although they claim do not look for trouble, until and unless it comes to them, the reality is these guys can be huge problem starters at times
Weak Points: Due to the pretty enormous size of their turf, they sometimes tend to wander from it, leaving it open to ambushes and attacks from the rival gangs. They also tend to get political, and at times, they are seen as something other than a street gang
