Marky Mark as a football player!  Sweet. When it came out, I thought it would be good but I'm not a sports movie person. Only a few. But people said it was horrible, and there was another movie out at the time and it was called "How to Eat Fried Worms" aka The Worst and Stupidest movie ever thought up. And I thought, Wow, Tinseltown is going downhill big time to make a movie about kids eating worms.

Ah, good ol' Dirk.  Very cliche indeed, however, what cought my attention was his story was similar to the Rocky film which had come out around the same time.  People saw it as that, a normal person getting the chance to make it big!!
