On Patrol


Bronx Trainyard, Febuary 18 1977, 10:48pm


    Matthew  was in the moonrunners hideout. He was constantly turning the channel on the T.V. Eric and Curtis walked in the hangout and approached  matthew. Eric sat in a chair "I think the basketball game is on!"as he snatched the remote from matthew. Curtis looked at Eric "What a game!? I'm tired of those stupid games!" Eric smirked "Cuz you know you owe me twelve dollars if the hawks lose!"he said in a excited voice. Matthew stood up out of his chair "You know we're not going to have time to watch this game cuz we got to patrol to tonight and make sure that no gangs dare step a foot on our turf trying to snuff our trains!" Eric looked up at matthew amnd then down at his watch "Your right matthew its getting late.....I'll get the radio so we can listen to the game while we're out"he said grabbing the radio of the table  and headed  out to the trainyard. They went out to the trainyard and found a spot where none of the other scouts were patroling. Curtis looked out into the dark and gloomy area and examined all the trains "Where's the rest of our scouts?"he asked. Matthew hunched his shoulders "I don't know but im sure they are out there ..somewhere"he said in a concern voice. Eric turned on the radio and listened to the game. Curtis sighed "Im sick of patroling the trains every night!...Its like we are just sitting here waiting for no one..I say we go to the Black Cat and check out some GIRLS!" Matthew smacked curtis in the back of the head "Are you stupid? We need to keep a close eye on the trains!" he said in anger. Eric pulled out a Bowie knife"Hey guys check out what I got!" Curtis turned his head slowly "Are you kiddin me? You got a Bowie Knife? You really going to kill someone with that?"he asked. Eric nodded his head "Hell yeah, What do you think? We gotta put suckers out for good if we want gangs to respect us!" Matthew nooded his head "You got that right, we got to get respect"
Matthew looked up in the area and saw Cosmo come up to them."So you guys are supposedly patroling the trains ,Eh?"cosmo asked. Matthew and the gang didn't answer cosmo. Cosmo threw his hands at them "Forget you guys, then..I guess I'll be going now!"as he walked further into the trainyard. Curtis shook his head"I hate that guy!" as he drifted off to sleep. After 13 minutes matthew and Eric heard a yelling. Curtis woke up"What in the world was that?"he said in a frantic voice. Matthew got up "It sound like Como! We gotta go Come on!"he shouted taking off in the direction of the yelling.Curtis rubbed his eyes and ran off after matthew "Wait up!"he shouted. Eric kept his bowie knife in his hand "Its time for some action."as he took off following matthew and curtis towards the bloodcudling yelling.

   They saw  bright lights coming from cosmo's direction. Matthew and the gang hid behind some boxes and saw cosmo. Eric saw some transit cops beating on cosmo "They're  going to kill cosmo..What are we going to do?"he whispered. Curtis stared at the transit cops "Those transit cops always have to ruin things !" Matthew looked back at Eric and curtis "First of all, I prefer that we don't interfer cuz we just might end up like cosmo..And second of all, I prefer for you all to calm down and shut up!" By the time they looked up to see cosmo. Cosmo was arrested. Cosmo shouted "Let me go you stupid COP!!" One of the cops slammed cosmo into the wall "You better shut up punk cuz you aren't going anywhere!" One the cops looked back and shined a flashlight in the direction where they were hiding. Curtis heart started racing "Screw this I can't get busted" as he ran and accidently knocked down a iron pole. Eric ran up to curtis and grabbed him "Those cops heard us and it seems that they are coming our way so be ready!" Curtis picked up a shovel. The cops rushed towards them and shouted "FREEZE OR YOU WILL GO TO JAIL!" The cop charged at eric and tackled him to the ground. Eric pulled out his bowie knife and stabbed the cop in the chest. Curtis came towards one of the other cops and hit him in the head with the shovel. Matthew saw the last cop calling for back up. Matthew quickly picked up a brick and threw it at the cop. Matthew ran over to eric and curtis "We gotta leave they called for back up!"he yelled. All of a sudden police sirens were heard along with barking dogs. Eric turned his head and saw the dogs "Oh Crap..K9 unit!" Curtis looked back and saw at the dogs staring at them. Matthew turned his head"I thinkl we should take off!" As they ran to find a nearby station to hide in. Curtis kept looking back at the dogs "Sorry but I can't keep up!" he yelled as two dogs jumped on him forcing him to the ground. "They got curtis!"eric shouted. "We got to keep moving"matthew said. After 14 minutes of running the reached a station. They ran inside and closed the shudder door. Eric was panting and wiping sweat off his forehead "I think we should give up and turn ourselves in!" Mathew nodded his head "I don't think so.. We're going down swinging no matter what happens!"as he opened the shudder. They saw a huge crowd of policemen outside. Eric took out his bowie knife" You ready?" as he stood beside matthew. Mathew picked up a large rock. They charged into the crowd of cops. Eric cut one cops across the face and kicked hi9m to the ground. Mathew swung the rock and hit a officer in the face. Eric looked back and saw matthew get pummeled by a cop. Matthew shouted "RUN!!" Eric dropped his knife and ran towards the hideout. He looked back and saw no one chasing him. He raced into the hideout and shut the door. The moonrunners warlord came up to eric" What happened to Curtis and matthew?"Eric shook his head "All I can say is..They went out swinging!"

Yeah, I've finally got my story written. Its coming in 3-4 hours or so. I've got class so I can't copy and paste it, but its coming. Sorry for the absolutely long wait.
