It's the TV version with the deleted things and everything. Anyone else have a recorded of the TV showing of The Warriors?

Dude, you have a nice treasure in your possession. I notice you are from New York. Can we work something out? I definitely would like to have one of these old copies. By the way, what scenes are included? Thanks.

Original opening scene w/ Cleons girlfriend. The introduction of the 9 Warriors. A scene before Cyrus's meeting after the Warriors get of the train. An extra part of Cyrus's speech. A scene that follows the DJ announcing that "the Baseball Furies dropped the ball". A scene of the DJ shows up after The Riffs saying that the turnbull`s "blew it ". A scene before the Punk Brawl. An extra scene from under the pier.

Sorry I don't except any trades or send-outs. I like to feel that my collections are one-of-a-kind.

Hey partner, I hope I did not offend you. Please accept my apology. In good faith I meant if you could make a copy of the tape and sell it to me. I never meant the original.

if you have access to an editing system.

you can record the movie onto the computer, then export the movie on DVDs, and give/sell them to friends. that way the quality is not lost if you record the movie onto the movie, then export it onto DVDs/Tapes.

cause if you record from one tape to another, you lose a generation and the quality gets worse.

it doesn't happen just making one or two copies though--not that you can tell, anyway. I have a couple of tv taped masters I have made lots of copies of, and only after a lot of copies made did you see any graininess start to show. So yes, it will happen, but the newer your machines, the less the wear seems to show.
And alot depends on the quality of the master one too. but you are right, after awhile, the wear will show on tapes.
But I have a few that are close to 20 years old, and they still play fine, but some others have definately not aged as well.

yep a little graininess doesn't bother me. but I understand why DVD purists enjoy a image as clear as possible.

it's kinda of messed up many stores these days no longer sell new movies on VHS. or even carry VHS at all.
