More Ethnicity

Post by adam88 »

I am just a little curious.  Now one of the major reasons we all love the warriors, is because of the different racial backgrounds.  It makes people relate to the different characters, and brings different personas elements that makes each character so unique and special.  Their different heritages and essence makes other people relate to them, and who they are as individuals.  Now my question is, do you suppose there were other racial backgrounds in the warriors gang?  Like were there Asians, and Arabs for example?  You never know, Maybe theres  something about the warriors that makes every walk of life drawn to their lifestyle.  What do you think?

I think it depends on the make up of the community.  Basically whatever ethnicity that was living in Coney Island at the time might have joined the warriors.

Well thats one reason why I made up my gang for the fan fics Indians. The Grizzilies.
But im sure there are other gangs that have different eticity but we just don't see them. For example the 8th street Apaches. From the name we have a clue that these guys have to be Indians!

He'sa talking to me Baby Bear.
So whats erong with being emotional "ajax the warrior".  it human nature, and its freedom of expression.  I like to express myself as a person, and how I view the world.  Especially when your a warriors fan.  We all love this film, and as fans we love to communicate, and express inner most aspects of this film.  And this is something we will never stop doing, and thats creation of what we think.

Oh by the way Godfather, thats a good point on the community.  I suppose it does depend on what nationalities live there, and often they are mixed with one another, you know like a melting pot. And Baby Bear, as for the 8th street Apaches, thats a good point on them being Native American because of the name, but its possible a neame can be used without being nationalitie it referes to.  I mean take the music group "The Wu Tang Clan", they sound Asian, but their black.  But these are all good points, on hoe associated the races are with eachother, and who lives in the neighborhood, as well as the influence of the names these gnags take to identify themselves with.  Very good points.

if you are a true fan of this great film and it becomes a part of you then you are obviously gonna feel something about the characters who are in the movie whether its emotional otherwise.

Ummm, pardon my intrusion, but I don't think ajax the warrior meant that in a particularly bad way, adam88,  just pointing it out I suppose.
Because it's true, I've noticed, I read your posts and it's like "whoa..." they're mind blowing - almost every post I've ever seen you make is full of emotion and they're a great read.
...
I wonder if there were ever any British members in the Warriors... would be fun if there were.

Actually Honey Lips, thats why Imake sure my posts are not rude when I respond back to somebody.  Being that I wasn't sure about the emotion of the post, I kept my message as respectable as possible, withought sounding hostile, to someone.
