Punks leader not very smart

Post by Lion »

Ok, if he knew he was going to get into a fight, why didn't he take the roller skates off?

Well while he was on the ground he could've took them off and whacked Rembrandt in the face with them. Roller skates in the face? Lots of damaged can be caused there!

At least he wasn't wearing elastic suspenders. He could have got caught on something, rolled past it, and snapped backwards.
This is too funny, Heelies!!! can you imagine trying to put those wheels in!!!

Yes, I see what your saying.  But if you notice, the depiction of he members of other gangs that Walter Hill give is o characters :who are not rapped to tight", if you know what I mean.  In other words, there not mentally stable.  I truley believ that Walter Hill had an image, of the warriors enemies, as people who were "mad", and lived in abnormal world of their own.  Why do you think, that the style of the warriors represents one that depicts the "every man", the simple underdog in all of us that trys to make it in a crazy world.  This is why the warriors were racially mixed, and had a cool, but straight to the point kind of a style.  Because the audience was only suppost to relate to the warriors, and from their poin of view, make it past a journey full of freaks.  So its not meant to make sense, on him wearing roller blades.  I mean, why else would the furies or High-Hats hgo around with face paint on.  Because it invisions a mad world, and the warriors represent us dealing with it.

Thats so reasonable. I pretty much saw the Punks leader that was a violent mental patient that had a mind like a kid. A grown man carrying a switchblade and rolling around on skates seems cool.

If I could skate as well as him, I think I'd rather fight in skates than in bare feet, especially in a manky old subway restroom.  8)
