Re: Electric Eliminators

Mian (who makes the vests) has a full sized screen accurate (in design if not in material) EE patch for sale. The off white appears to be cotton based like a thick tshirt. The black felt base that they used for the warbird, is quite thick; almost cardboard in stiffness. On a related note to the patc...

Re: TURNBULL AC PATCH

It wouldn't surprise me if the entire patch was printed. Satin is a tricky material to work with. It could even be polyester.

Re: ALLEY CATS PATCH

Now we've got HD copies of the film, the Alley Cats t-shirt appears to have faded horizontal stripes (similar to Rob Ryder's top in the Punks).

Re: Warriors reunion @ Chiller

On the subject of original vests, did anyone catch the one being displayed at paramount studios reception? It has the warbird still attached, but no rocker.

Re: Warriors reunion @ Chiller

Wasn't able to make the 3:00 group meetup, but had a great time meeting the cast. Awesome people. Picked up a killer vest and got it signed and got an Electric Eliminators print from Bobbie Mannix too. What a nice lady. Spoke to a few nice Brits, wasn't sure if any of them were you guys though! Tha...

Re: Warriors reunion @ Chiller

So would you agree if a rocker hasn't got the black outline around the lettering, then it's a reproduction?

Re: Warriors reunion @ Chiller

Did she bring both Moonrunners designs? I've seen the one with no arms. There was another design underneath it but I could only see the forearm with the white wristband.

The good news is Apache is out of the hospital today after complications with his heart stent.. It's 50/50 if he can make the reunion, but he's still hoping he can do it.

I think she's going with Dorsey. He hints that they may have a project together.
Wanda is going as well.
Speaking of Bobbie, I did get the privilege of seeing her early design for the Moonrunners patch, and can tell you it Does have a moustache.

Re: Has anyone lipread the opening sequence?

When you see Swan speaking with Cleon, he says the exact same line in the cut away scene seconds later. (never been to the Bronx)
When Cowboy gets his hat back, Vermin says something along the lines of "that was fun, that was fun" (or this is fun).

There's been some characters over the years. I've no idea what happened to most of them. Kartoon was in the music business, last I heard.
We lost Tantive 7 to leukaemia a year ago.

Re: Mercy As Bait?

Been years since I read the novel, but does it play out as the Dominators are tailed by an "orphan" (who they kill) and the Mercy character had followed him out of curiosity? Movie wise, I think she was a headstrong character and wanted to find them to lip off and get the last word in (like all wome...
