Re: Criterion Collection

Hey I am up for a new hobby.  Whether its out of the main stream, or in the main stream, I am up for it.  Especially when it has to do with the art of film making.

Haddaway-What is Love?

I just  thought this song would bring back some memories from the 90's.  The good old Night at the Roxbury song.  Sometimes I still find my self nodding my head like that when I listen to it(inside joke).

Die Hard Music Video

Alright everyone theres a band called "GuyzNite", that specifically made a rock song for all 4 Die Hard films.  So its not just a random song mixed with a few clips from Die Hard.  It was specifically made for the films, and goes great with the complilation of all 4 Die Hards.  It may not be the gre...

Re: ...man that chicks' gots some mouth....

Yeah interesting point.  Times sure do change.  I think thats why we find the warriors so interesting, you know, so we can compare how society has changed as a who.  Women have come a long way, to the point where men and womens ideals have emerged into one.  Now a days, a man will not think twice if...

Re: Criterion Collection

Actually I would like to know more about them.  Can you explain some more of it to me, if you don't mind Lions.  It doesn't matter if a movie is a short independent film, or a huge Hollywood film, its all art to me.

Re: School locks.

I must confess, back then I used a key lock.  Yes call me lazy, but hey I was in and out, and it was convenient.  The only thing that barthered me was that the head of the gym department, kept clipping it of(you know how these people are, they have nothing else better to do, then see students strugg...

Re: riverside fight

Hey great find, what an eye.
I suppose one way we could all cope with this blooper is by just simply pretending that the furie got loose for a second, and Snow simply put the grip back on.  I guess that one way, we can go with the flow.

Re: If they were alive.....

Interesting topic.  I suppose, in order to look at it, you can compare it with musicians that are still going today.  Take Van Halen for example, or The Monkeys.  Do you think that when some of them reunite, they distort their original music, or still go the distance?  It sounds crazy, but sometimes...

Re: Which would you prefer?

Well, the one good thing about a remake is that you can choose to ignore it.  The reason I say tis is because remakes are based on an alternate universe that has nothing to do with the classic original.  On the other  hand, in my opinion, Prequals, seem to distort the classic movie.  It messes up th...

Re: Widescreen Or Full frame?

I suppose it depends on the movie.  Notice how certain movies that are made, as well as there sequals, seem to have a type a style.  For instance the Die Hard Franchise is kept at a more wide screen vision, while others are left at full view.  This is why I rather have both, because theres a reason ...

Re: Michael Beck In Another Movie

Well, the problem with Xanadu, is that it ruins it for othe rold classic musicals.  SOme people need to realize that when people dislike Xanadu, it not because they hate old time musicals, it because this one was done bad.  I really admire the classics, like "West Side Story", or "Grease", but Xanad...
