people who have watched wont not remember it mate u dont create something to forget another thing i supose u can but not with this movie, although ppl who havnt seen the opriginal and go and see the new movie may want to see the original, or maybe ppl will think "this movie was cool" then figures will come out and a game etc, and ppl will worship that and forget where it came from depends how u look at it,

end of the day im going to watch iot u all know i am coz ive said in about 15 posts. one thing is for sure the original is a cult classic and the greatest but this new one could be good lets wait and see

Damn i so want there to be a second warriors, i mean the first one was done excellent so i reckon they could expand it much more, there should be about 10 different gang storylines i mean with a next gen console they could deffinetly achieve that shame there wasnt another film with the original cast!

I would only see The Warriors 2 if it actually had some storyline to the other gangs. There really isn't a point in seeing a remake of the original well.. it wouldn't have the right feal to the movie like you saw in the original. Obviously it have different casts and no doubt they would throw someone famous in the remake like they are with Day of the Dead Remake. I doubt the remake of The Warriors will be any better than the original but it doesn't hurt to watch it I suppose. Now if they did make a 2nd off the first one then it might actually been an interesting movie considering you would have the same characters exsept Rembrant (he died obviously) But the remake I don't see really much of an impact on it's outcome.

More like a retelling of The Story
The same way,They did with Batman Begins..

I hope that they approch it this way..

It is more likely that the film will not be anything like 1979 version. If it does go off from the book then thats actually something to maybe look forward to. I am more concerned on how their going to have the gangs in the film (if any). If it is off the 1979 version itll just be worthless, they remade so many classics most of them dont make much of impact as the original of course. There really shouldnt be too many questions on this matter itll be completly different.
