How long before the truce was completely broken?

We all know that although Cyrus was able to unite the gangs of NYC for the conclave, that he never even finished explaining his vision. Although every gang in the city was after the Warriors that night, chances are that without Cyrus to continue the truce, they eventually went back to fighting each other for their "little turf".

How long do you think it was before the truce was completely broken? Were the rivalries between the gangs "on again" the next day, or was it a few weeks?

Did any gangs make their truce with each other permanant? For example, could the Jones Street Boys and the Saracens have made their truce permanent, possibly merging into the Jones Street Saracens? How about the Van Courtland Moon Rangers?

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

As we all learned from Luther, there would always be someone ready to break it.  I wouldn't give it a month.  Honestly, I don't know what Cyrus thought when he did this.  Unless he would have each gang approach him with their problems (specially with another gang) and let the Riffs deal with them, other than that, I don't know how the Riffs were going to pull this.

Well noticing the gangs and their "rep" there would always be someone trying mess it up for everyone like Luther did for every gang in the city some gang members would try to likely mess up another gang  just to gain more rep on their own gang. I doupt that most (if not all) gangs would ever have a perminant truce the next day. If any gangs have made a truce it is unknown because no one will ever know if they would or wouldnt. My guess is some of the gangs would probably have reinforcements with them to guard their "turf" and it would just end up being like any other day for the gang. It would take a very long time for another truce to ever happen if one would to be anounce. I can imagine it took quite awhile for Cyrus to find a way to conjoin all gangs in one night.

Well IMO the truce was broken just a second later Cyrus shooting. Even if, as we can see in that scene, all gangs's member helped each other. But all of them had simply to run away the Police!!!
Anyway even if Cyrus was still alive, I think they'd have broken the truce the same! I mean, they respected him, but we're speaking about people wanting basically to fight 4 the honour: power, territory and total control... few members would have really understood it!!!
So would have most of them really understood a superior mind's plan, when 4 istance another gang's member would have simply looked to them "in a bad way"? 8)

after all that and no cyrus i think things would have carried on as normal or maybe they would have respect knowing the fact they all went to a meeting to talk of peace and keep it
