Remake Maybe History

some movies should never have remakes,in this case the warriors, this classic movie is doing just fine the way it is.......

i mean if it was done in new york,with a whole new batch of new bloods, having ajax get out of jail,from getting arrested in the park,only knowing that the rogues are bloodthirsty for revenge, some of the original members should be involved somehow regardless of age, like have luther's son if he had one,kill swan..,and then swan's nephew,if he had one wants retribution....and so on...just leave this fucking film alone!

L.A already has the movie colors about gangs,and numerous other,why add this movie to the list...keep it in new york!

mtv will probably thug it up,with all that shitty new bling and ass music they play on TRL.

Hmm well it could just be total speculation but then again from some of the opinions on the board i'm not too shocked.

I agree with samuel28 on this one. There are some movies that are just so classic they shouldn't be touched and I think the Warriors is one of them.
Fair enough do a film that is based around the original story but don't name it The Warriors. That seems to be just confusing lots of people who think its a direct remake with Swan, Ajax, Vermin etc all in it.

I am also worried that its going to become a total MTV fest...I can't stand MTV at the best of times..
