Dunno why, I mean it's the last Batman Movie!!! But, it's so!!!
Well, maybe after Heath Ledger (Joker) death... RIP, people will talk more and more about "The Dark Knight"!!!
This is the World... sometime sad... but always our World!!! ::)

Anyway, I read it's not a remake. They say the story/plot is just different!!!

I don't consider any of these two a remake.  Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are way superior than the 1st wave done by Tim Burton (except Batman Returns).  The Joker alone in this series is way better then Nicholson's Joker.

Well, I liked Jack Nicholson's Joker... but maybe Tim Burton wanted a "comics version???" Joker, I mean Christopher Nolan's Joker looks like "The Shining" Nicholson!!!
Well, imagine Nicholson saying "Why so serious!!?!"...
Anyway, nothing to say about Ledger, "RIP", performance: Great!!! 8)

I always thought the first movie was the  Adam West one.

Managed to see the first 6 minutes of the Dark knight before it was taken down.  Its Joker robbing a bank.  If anyone else has seen it, could you tell me if the security guard that gets a nerve gas canister placed in his mouth, is the same actor that plays the corrupt agent dude in the tv series "prison break".

well its the sequel to that and The Joker is a homicidal nutjob in this here is the ending of Batman begins  to explain the cliffhanger for the sequel

Tim Burton can get away with somethings.  The Joker is supposed to be a psychotic killer, kidnapper, and a rapist .  The fact that he cut his face when he found out Batman was still alive after he tought he had killed him, that alone is crazy.  The Dark Knight series explains the Joker better.
