Hi
I have been lurking around this forum for a number of years, but until today have never bothered to register.
Brief Intro -
My name is Mitch I live in Manchester in the UK and my favourite film of all time by a long way is of course The Warriors. I went to see the film when it first released and it was part of a double bill with another of my favourite films 'Slapshot' with Paul Newman and the Hanson Twins (triplets)....
Anyway, I work as a computer consultant, have a wife and two kids. We have a house in Florida which we get out to as much as possible to get some sunshine, as for the most part the weather in the UK is crap.
My wife and I came back from New York last week (we have been a number of times before), but this time I insisted on visiting the big CI. We did the Nathans hot dog thing, and although Astroland was shut, I managed to get some great shots of the Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone. It was an amazing feeling to actually see the thing in real life, as oppossed to the opening credits of the movie.
Next time we go, we will visit Riverside Park and see if we can find Rembrandt's W's......
Bye for now !
Mitch

Thanks guys.
Can I ask a question ? How often do you all watch Warriors? I live in Manchester, but work (mostly) in London. The train journey back on Friday is just over two hours, and I use that time to watch Warriors (again) .....so I watch the film every week.........it's stays in the laptop.
I figure that I have watched the film in excess of 100 times over the years. Every time I watch it, I always notice something that I haven't spotted before.
I met Tom McKitterick last year. He was directing a play in London, nice guy ! He is blown away by the 'aura' that still surrounds the Warriors movie. It was a life changer for him.

Well, I watch The Warriors at least one time a week... and every day, in my car I listen to The Warriors Soundtrack (+ all the Movie Songs)!!! It's too funny when luther's shot is on, and people hear his famous line... cause I always pump up the volume...
Anyway, welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay!!! 8)

Re: New Member
I keep trying to find time to watch it. The other week while I was ironing I had enough time to watch the featurette's on the Ultimate Director's edition (which strangely features a typo on the back of the box - warefare anyone?) but didn't get time to actually watch the film again. I must make time, although my newly delivered Xbox with GoW is sapping my time like an electric leech at present.
Oh and welcome Mitch, good to see another Manc on here.
