If one of the Warriors was made into a girl, she would own the movie because Tony Scott is directing and he always always ALWAYS makes the movie about the chicks! They own the movies and it totally sucks!
As for the overly PC girls, yeah they always really tick me off! It's like the creators are trying to say "see? We're not sexist! We made the best character a girl!!! That's proof!" theyre basically over-compensating trying not to be sexist but by doing so are being totally sexist or just annoying. I'm in such a mood now!
There's another point! A female Warrior would have a major mood swing (like I just had) in the middle of the film and mess everything up!

OK. I forgot to mention. There is one, ONE tough chick I admire. Now, don't laugh, but its..............Lara Croft. NOT the Tomb Raider movie Lara Croft! The Tomb Raider video game Lara Croft. Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Legends. SHE is a cool tough chick. SHES the kind of character the new Warriors needs. Not exactly feminest, but not a princess. She just likes an adventure. Shes like me. She doesn't try to show off how tough she is, she just is.

Oh yes, totally with Trixter on this one, game version Lara Croft is just the coolest fictional female character there is. Plus, she is smokin!

Actually having a female warrior, will definatley symbolize the way we have gone so far as a people.  I think thats why this movie is being made.  I have stated on other posts that our morals and way of life has expanded and alternated from one point to another, therefore the representation of women have changed as well.  Whether its politics, art, civil rights, and plus being whatever nationality you are and dealing with being a woman, have broke a lot of barriers.  So in order to compare and contrast, the different eras, whether its issues on religion, race, styles, beliefies, and customs, we have to include womens views as well.  If you include the women, the circle of life will be complete.  Every way of life as an opposite, and by having an opposite it becomes a whole.  So Tony Scott might add this new element.  Who knows?  I am just trying to explain reasons, if there ever were a female warrior.

If they were starting something completely new from scratch, then I'd be OK with a female gang member or two in the group. But I just can't see how or where one would fit in the Warriors group. It would bring up too many problems, how would a female Warrior cope in the same group as borderline sex offender Ajax? Knowing Hollywood, they'd probably have her hook up with Swan, or whoever the new movie's answer to him will be, which would suck. We already have a group of female gang members in the Warriors, they're called the Lizzies, and they'll do just fine for me.

The absolute worst thing, imo, would be to put in a female "version" of one of the Warriors we already know, trying to replace them.

As much as i'm all "Gah independant woman blah blah blah"  and the majority of my friends are guys I still agree that a girl Warrior just wouldn't fit.

It's fair enough having a gang thats all girls but a mixed gang in the movie would add the way for a love interest storyline thats deeper than Swan and Mercy and would just distract away from the main story.
Mercy was a tough chick but she was feminine at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I stand up for myself if someone pisses me off but I also like a guy to take charge!

No female Warriors. It would change the whole dynamic of the gang. Ick

The Lizzies, I mean their role, were perfect 4 the Movie. But that is another story!!!
Female Warriors? It's another point, and it wasn't anyway the right period!!!
Yeah, no chance, The Warriors (like all other gangs) can only be a "Men Only Gang"!!! 8)

I think I generally have a thing against girls who act tough in general. It's something that really annoys me and I'm not sure why to tell the truth! I hate it when girls go around going "I'm so tough, check me out blah blah" It's the same with young people doing it. Theres acting tough and then theres actually being tough.

Get through Military basic training without complaining once...then i'll accept it  :p

Oh my gosh!! Why in the heck is there gonna be a girl warrior? It's gonna look weird depending on her actions if she is rebelious or cocky. But i mean why, especially if in the movie shes gonna be the opposite of rembrandt? It will probably be good but i dont think so too much either...its cool if shes an artist though but if she fights alot which we see in many movies, shes basically a tomb boy more than a girl warrior, right?

I would hate it if there was a girl Warrior, cos lets be honest, she would get killed off, girls can't fight against men, never mind fighting against men who are in gangs. If a Rembrandt sort of character wasn't in the movie I would be annoyed, I like Rembrandt, he's the clever, fragile Warrior, and he suits being the sprayer, I would flip out if a women took his role.
