Recently I got dumped recently, I been extremely depressed during this time, but with this I actually loved her and she just got bored of me, never said I love you back and so on, but with this it's hard for me to be in relationships and so on because most girls don't seem to like me... anyway I know I must sound like some whiny emo right now but any advice on how to cheer myself up would be appreciated. (I realise this is not the most cheerful post to start off the 17th year of my life with)

best advice i can give you especially at your age is not to be in a relationship, be single and have a good time with your mates and not having a girl telling you what to do, im 23 next month and im still single, when u meet the right girl you will know about it.

I had a bad break up 3 years ago and she was seeing someone else behind my back, tried to have 2 relationships since her and it wasnt happening i just didnt care about them so im just waiting for right perso.

single life is good mate, as long as you have your hobbies and friends and beer, your fine, pull women and use them at your age pal.

and about your ex, she isnt worth it, girls aint worth it just be yourself

Thanks bro, yeah she broke just so she could go off with someone else, didn't even give me a reason just texted me telling me she didn't want much to do with me, well like they say, essex girls have a reputation for being like that, and drinking isn't in my agenda lol but thanks man.

Seriously though, stevo's advice is sound. If she broke up with you over text message, chances are she wasn't worth it anyway. Go out and have fun with your friends or something, because otherwise you're letting her win. Hell, you just turned 17, you shouldn't be spending it depressed over some girl. I've been 17 since February and it's been the best year of my life so far. There are other fish in the sea, my good sir, and you're bound to catch one.

Well "Herbal Medication" as I call it works way better than alcohol that's for sure lol, but yeah I hate drinking because It makes most people violent, never seen a stoned guy throw a punch lol, but yeah I am having fun now, got my cousin all the way from mexico over for a week so we're chilling and good luck stevo hope it goes well.

Yeah it's funny the second I said that she claimed I was "gay" and used the "S" word to insult me... for the not obvious it's used to describe a mexican and ends in "ic"  anyway.. she's the typical "I get what I want when I want" types annoys me, but was funny seeing that she got angry when I said I didn't care anymore, well that and it turns out her currant bf was cheating on her with a guy.. the story just keeps getting better.
