Metal Gear Solid 4 - Guns Of The Patriots

Has anybody else got this incredible game yet for their incredible PS3?
i wont give away any spoilers but it is brilliant whether you follow MGS or have never playerd one in your life. i only played MGS 1 and a bit of Snake Eater so i read the plot of MGS 2 and 3 the day before 4 arrived so i'm up-to-date on whats happening. some cutscenes can be a bit long but if you follow the series you wont get bored. the graphics are also incredible. its a must buy for PS3 owners

This game actually makes me want to buy a PS3. My buddy at work (Who is easily the biggest MGS fan I know... The phrase "I want to have Snake's babies" is something that has been uttered by him on more than one occasion) keeps telling me about it and it sounds awesome. There are still rumours that the game might be coming to 360, but unfortunately I doubt it. I try to live in Hope though.

MGS 1 is easily one of the best games I've ever played, MGS 2 also being a great game (Didn't actually enjoy Snake Eater that much). But this one supposedly tops the lot.

i'm afraid it wont be coming out on xbox as the game takes up almost a full blu-ray disc (50 gb) so it would require at least 3 dual layered DVD's if it came out on xbox. the game also requires you to install parts of the game which they wouldn't be able to do because of microsofts stupid decision to release the arcade 360.

Don't worry about it. That's why I said "but unfortunately I doubt it", because it is very unlikely (if not impossible) But then again they also said that in the preliminary stages of GTA IV (That it would be over the course of 6 discs for 360).

Like I said though, I certainly don't expect it to happen and I sincerly doubt that it will (Mainly for the reason you mentioned).

it is a shame that xbox owners can't play it as it is a masterpiece which does the series justice and the online is also great.
like i said, its a shame but thats the way things are going now with consoles, all the good games are becoming exclusives but hey! you 360 owners have gta DLC to look forward to.

This game looks awesome i really want to play it im going to hire it out first before i buy to see if it is worth the money.
