Hi boopers, have you seen American Gigolo?
In the second part of this movie, when Richard Gere graps senator's helper and he pushes him against the wall, writing his telephone number on helper's face, on this wall there is the giant poster of "The Warriors" and it's visible for a lot of time during this scene. If I find some pics, I'll post them.
Bye
Here is some pic:

Yeah I've seen the movie and you know what? that was the first thing that I noticed as well. That just made the movie even better. I also though it was funny how the guy that Richard Gere was talking to, fell down.
I remember that scene..
I love the Plug for the movie,That was cool..
Yo and why is Richard Gere trying to act hard, like if he too,was a Warrior??
Oh man, where was James Remar when you needed him,
He'll show you how it's done!!
Warriors Style!!!!
If you look at The Warriors logo it has been crossed out with the initials VCR along side it as if the Van Cortland Rangers have grafittied over The Warriors handiwork. Very clever.
Both films were made by Paramount.
I'm new here btw

If you look closely, I dont think that it says VCR,but more like VGV from the 1979 LA gang movie. At 5.20 in this clip they cross out a rival gang tag and replace it with a VGV. Looks simular to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS1XlyLu5pE
Maybe a little east vs west 1979 gang movie rivalry?
I havent seen American G is it based in NY or LA?

Here is the video from that scene @ 4:55 is the Warriors poster scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E2biiALbfQ You can clearly see that it says VGV which is from the boulevard nights LA gang movie that was also realeased in 1979. American Gigilo was released in 1980 and would have still been in theaters back then. I believe there is a real VGV gang that may have crossed out the poster? Check out the youtube clip from my above post. It kinda ties together.
Anyways, that is a awesome Warriors poster! I have never seen one like that before.

The poster looks to be raised two part lettering on the Warriors logo. Its dosen.t look like its just a poster.
Has anybody this large Warriors piece before?
