Yep, that was his paint scheme.
Up until recently, I thought he was the leading Fury, too.  In a previous thread, someone said something about the nine delegates, of each gang, having the gang leader being in charge.  This thread began with the question of whether Cleon was the leader of the entire gang, or of just the nine.

I agree with Flashman, I have never thought about that. Now about the Furies that chase after the Warriors, I've always thought of them as just a Furies patrol that just happened to run into the Warriors when they split up.

Sounds very plausible.  Now that you bring that up, I'm thinking that there's a small possibility that  that Fury may not necessarily be 2nd-in-command.  Perhaps I was being a little cut-and-dry in my previous statement about his being 2nd.  Always a good thing to make sure the facts are straight before speaking.

You're probably right about that.

Maybe they went but didn't wear their war colours because of the truce and then when its kicking but time they paint their full war paint such as black eyes etc.

Could theorise about that until the end of time but I doubt they would have thought about that much detail for a character buried in the extras.

I don't think that he is the leader, unless he broke away from the rest of his gang and pulled a Fox, to get a better look, The rest of the furies, including the yellow/black furie is clearly seen right beside Luther and the rouges

Obviously, you're talking about the conclave.  I watched that part a few days ago to double-check on the color that one Fury was.  He did look similar to the one who Ajax squared off with, but it couldn't have been him.  The Furies, at the meeting, would have been still on their way home or busted by the time Swan and them ran into those other Furies, who were already on, or near, their turf.

I don't think that he is the leader, obviously there's not black paint on his left eye. His face doesn't look like leader's face. Its someone else. Some other person.

That isn't the "thurman" character, the "thurman" fury is with the rest of the furies, who can be seen right beside the quick little shot you get of Luther and the Rouges at the Conclave.

Checked the full cast and didn't find anybody named Thurman who played a Fury.  Maybe "thurman" is street lingo?

No that is the name that the warriors video game gave him. I never call him Thurman

perhaps they dont have a warlord and just have a democracy where they al decide things on what they do
