This is the vest that toynk previosly had posted on their site but has since took down.

Would I be right in assuming this design has been scrapped in favour of the newer vest?

They had to change due to copyright woes with a "HEAVY OUTFIT". Whoever bought those got the "good" ones i guess.

I like the original flaming death head patch, but I think the flaming snake is still a cool item to have.  I wonder if they sell just the patches?

I was going to make replica patches, but couldn't make full size as in their liscense, they do not want to have people make "their own" costumes, so I doubt they will sell just the patches. Due to the economy etc, I had to scrap the plan to buy the mini-patch liscense. I did make samples tho .

I just got an email from signaturecostume.co.uk  and..."we will be doing the official warriors patches
but only the warriors one. It will be on the website later this week.
Price will be around £19."

Well not a major amount but i dont really dig the patches.

For a fully embroided patch, £19 is comparetivly cheap.  Ive just bought a warriors and rogues patch off ebay, which worked out at roughly £50 for the pair.  I'll post pictures with links to the seller when they arrive.
