It is killing me to see these. Prob not going to be really dead on, but have that costume look. I think it great that they have a hat (even tho it's vinyl) and a jersey for seperate order. But whats up with the belt? I'm pretty syked that the WARRIORS VEST will be emroidered! I can't wait to see them. Halloween is just around the corner.

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
Gotta say, not impressed. Pretty much what I figured though, cheapy costumes.
I find it interesting that the patch is the warbird with skull.

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
I wasnt expecting much, being that halloween costumes are usually meant to be worn for probably only once in its lifetime, but I do like the warbird on the product. Unsure on the quality of the stitching, but the design is way better than mark 1 mondotees and A1 american flags patchs.

The Toynk site says it is an officially licenced product. Wonder how they got that and others like mondotees didn't?

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
Well, these are officially licensed, but Mondotees' weren't. Still, with all the controversy regarding the Warbird change, I just don't get why it is OK for it to be used on some products, and not others, especially if the Hell's Angels rumor is true. I wish someone would officially settle this for good, if just so there is no longer any wonder and confusion. In fact, I think it would make for an interesting and informative story on this site.
So any of you out there actually plan to purchase these costumes and wear them on Halloween? I bet the Furies costumes will sell pretty well, but personally I would rather get one of the better quality Furies uniforms from Mondotees or somewhere if I were dressing up as a Fury.

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
I have a FURIES jersey by HOMERUN DERBY. It is HIGH QUALITY. I wouldn't wear it (it is signed by a lot of the cast and I have it framed on display). I actualy want to get both costumes, but that is only because I must buy EVERYTHING WARRIORS. They look ok and the have actual patches. I will let you know when I order and receive them.

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
Ive noticed they've changed the pictures of the furie uniform so as not to make it misleading. The hat doesnt come with fake hair like originally thought. I'm not sure what to make of the fake blake sleeves attached. I suppose it saves on searching for a black sleeved shirt with sleeves of that length. Think i'd sooner have one like mondotees where i can wear a seperate shirt underneath.

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
Its good for those on a tight budget whom don't want to spend $200 plus for a vest. Ive noticed the official uk distributer are charging a lot more for the same items
I'd pick up a furies outfit for that price; even if its only for display purposes. You can always buy a seperate warbird patch off ebay if you dont like the snake (which I dont).
Thanks for the update Lier One

Re: The Warriors - Halloween Costumes
Got myself one of these Furies costumes. It didn't come with the black socks like one of the sites were offering (so shop around).
My thoughts: Material is polyester, like the replica football jerseys you can get. Doesn't feel too bad when wearing, but obviosly not as good as cotton. The black sleeves could have done with being overlapped further with the white, but I suppose they could be cut off altogether if you wish. They are stitched together at the hem, so you can't unpick it without effecting the white sleeve.
The collar is slightly too low but nothing major. Its hardly noticable. The top is quite thick and heavy. The logo is a thick durable print. There are embroided patches out there if you want to improve it (ccWizard have sold them in the past)
The trousers/pants: I can only just get away with the length (which I thought might be a problem as i'm six foot 2). Would have prefered them a couple of inches longer, but once they are tucked into socks. no one will notice. They only do 2 sizes; large and extra large. I got the smaller size and they are wayyy too big around the waist. I'd have to add a few inches of beer belly for them to fit. Good job they have belt loops.
The thing that stands out the most is that overall, its too bright. The movie costume is a pale light grey colour. The halloween costume is white.
I'll probably only wear the pants on rare occasions that require fancy dress, but the top will get worn regually. I got it a lot cheaper off ebay, so i'm happy with the purchase. I wouldn't recommend it as a costume for your kids unless they are big for their age or your prepared to get a needle and thread out for adjustments.
