Any one hear about wave 2??
Any one hear about wave 2??
So it has been about a year since we heard about series 1 of the new figs. Any one hear about a wave 2. No news on mezco.net.

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
There might be something announced at the next big toy convention.
Another question: When wave 1 were first pictured last year, there were key fobs of the gang colors. Were these ever released. I seem to recall there being a Rogue one.

I actually asked MEZCO about the KEY-CHAIN yesterday. Haven't gotten anything back yet about them. As far as I know, they were never released.

I wondered what ever happen to those key-chains as well, I thought they were going to be with the new figures but that didn't happen. I have been checking Ebay in case I missed them but haven't seen any around yet. its a shame, they look good.

The keychains were never released, but I am not sure why.
Figures series 2 doesn't look too good. I have no official word, just speculating, but the first series doesn't seem like they sold very well, considering they are still in stock at most stores. That, and with the bad economy makes it look grim. At the last NY Toy Fair, there were no 9" figures shown at all for 2009. Everyone cross their fingers that at least something Warriors from Mezco is shown at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con in July.

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
On the cardboard backing sleeve inside the figures box, there's a large Rogues gang sign. The only other gangs on it are the ones that the figures belonged to. Was there originaly the plan to have Luther as part of wave 1's line up? Coupled with the fact there was a promotional key chain.
Another thought: I wonder if there was any agreement for both toy companies (Mezco and Locoape) not to do the same characters? Looking forward to what Locoape are going to bring to the table. Currently digging mezco's latest line (sorry TCM, Havn't got myself an orphan yet)
Anyone notice Ajax's ankles arn't as jointed like the rest of the line?

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
I sincerely hope there will be a second wave of the second series. They are awesome and secondly I hate it if I dont have a complete set/complete warriors gang. Im seriously considering selling my (complete) first series because of this.

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
theres a reason why not all of the warriors were produced. if im not mistaken they couldnt get approval to make certain characters.
Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
triscender, I never heard that! I think paramount owns the likeness of everyone!

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
Only thing I heard regarding likeness rights was that Roger Hill wasn't happy about them using his likeness for rockstar's game and filed for compensation (or something to that effect).
Whats the likelihood of LocoApe revealing their 18 inch figs at San Diago?

Re: Any one hear about wave 2??
I have asked the guy from Locoape who emailed me about them, but now he has gone silent (after that 1st email). I hear nothing else.
