Cleon had to be written out most of the story to stick to the "making it home without our leader" plot

Yeah, thats a key part for all the story. However i don't like the way he dies, he deserve better.

About the question, i think Ajax always gonna be the one who majority would like to stay until the end. Maybe the problem to find a good resolution is that already exist a scene where the warriors can scape of the womens, also is indispensable a scene where Ajax show his sexist side.

I just have an idea: What about Ajax been with Cochise, Rembrandt and Snowball? The problem would be how to make Ajax fight with the baseball furies.

I'm sorry Fox didn't make it back either, but at least his death was quick; being beaten to death takes time...

agreed! he did bring it upon himself, hes the only warrior that went who deserved it if you know what i mean. but i agree with remar in the dvd interview it wasnt really fitting for the grandeur of the character. i found an old post of mine on hear that said "i find it funny that everybody loves ajax even though hes a rapist" i laughed when i read that.

Question: Does anyone else think walter hill scrapped the dingo's part of the script BEFORE tom waites left production?  Ive never spotted anyone at the conclave scene that could fit their description.

Ajax got arrested. He got arrested for being an arrogant, impetuous ( and horny )
dude. Wether or not he made it thru his stretch depends on if the other boppers
in the lockup knew about the Riff's wanting the Warriors-"Alive if possible, if not...
wasted." I like to think he got released on OR a couple days later and made it
back to his homies. Ya Ajax is an abrasive, troubled, sexist, homophobic prick,
but who else would you want watching your back when things turn ugly? The
dude handles his business! That said tho, I would liked to have seen more of
Cleon. But he was the big leader. He had to die, cuz that left the rest of the
Warriors on their own, and created the basis of the rest of the story. Under
Swan's command, they had to pull together and make it back. As for the Fox,
R.I.P. Bro...
