Mini-patch set

Post by LIER ONE »

So about a year ago, I was going to do get the liscense from PARAMOUNT to do a run of mini-gang logo patches for retail. The deal never went through, but I started on prototypes. I have given these to various members of the cast that I have met (although i do not know what they do with them, hopefuly keep them):

SWAN
CLEON
SNOW
COCHISE
FOX
VERMIN
APCHE (FROM ORPHANS)

I have been asked to post them before so here they are:

Some colors need tweaking, I know. I also have some with faded yarns to make them look older. The set above only 12 of each were made. I can say these are very rare (I made them and don't know of anyone else who did this). Let me know what you think. Turnbull gbr, this is what is on it's way to you.

These would look good sewn on to a baseball cap or on the sides of some converse chucks.

Too cool, I've seen the warriors minipatch on ebay and thought maybe a vest for a baby, or pet (dog, cat or monkey, etc...).

Really, I have never seen a set on ebay. They ARE NOT the same, I can tell you that.

The same company that makes the vests also produce a mini patch set of the warbird.
It looks simular to yours due to the size limiting the detail.  I see them on ebay at around $10 a pop.

Look on charlloots post in this thread for a visual example.

Which company that makes vests? Not locoape.  I knew about the one in 07 but haven't seen them in a while. that is why i was going for the liscense. I was going to do FULL SIZE replicas, but locoape threw a fit.

mini sets show up on ebay fairly regulary - there's a promotional line put out by Rockstar around the time of the game release, and there's also be an A-1 variant floating around

Here's a thread that shows a mini patch on a converse sneaker:

I was refering to the shah meeran company.  They provided both A1 and Charlloots with their stock.
I don't class Locoape as a vest maker.  Their warriors and rogues costumes remind me of a bin liner thats had arm holes cut out.

Without double checking, I there's another picture reference of the mini patch in the fan pics section on the main page.  Its on a childs homemade vest.

Kool patches. I knew they were made before, but I never knew SO many existed. I never saw the other gangs. Does anyone know who ROCKSTAR did? I have a lot of the wrong thread color (look more vintage) patches, if anyone is interested. I was either going to sell these individule or in a set, but I had no retail for it.

PM me for details. The ones posted I only have like 3 sets left and they aren't going any where. I do have some with different color yarns (faded, older looking)

Below is the faded/wrong colors. These were 1st submits. The TURNBULL patch is ALL wrong, but the others look almost faded. Add a little vintaging and it looks good. Go bunch of these. PM me if interested.

You could sew them on a boy scouts sash for his "mugging old ladies" badge.
