Just watched a french film called Crimson Rivers, psychological thriller started off really serious, then one hour in a cop starts fighting with two guys, Street Fighter music and sound effects come on while there fighting completely out of the blue. I didn't really like the film but can't say it was rubbish, just for that bit alone it was worth watching. 8)

Last night, I watched "The Road".  Man, that is one depressing film.  I was wishing for a third bullet in that gun so I could top myself to end the misery of watching this flick.  Viggo Mortisen played the part well, though.

One of my friends recommended The Road i thought it looked good then i saw the cinema advert and thought "hand me the Prozac"

Waiting for the remake of The Crazies now, Wont be as good as the original but ill give it a go.

I think it's out next month, Timothy Olyphant is in it (seth bullock) from Dead Wood.

Forgive my ignorance  :(  but this movie The Crazies, what is the plot summary? I’ve never heard about it.
Gary Numan… isn’t he the guy who wrote Cars, that hit from the 80’s? Well, I think this is the song you were talking about:

The original The Crazies was about a plane that crashes with some weird chemicals on board that turn the local towns people into The Crazies, think the remake runs pretty much the same.

Hopefully it will be better than the remake of Day Of The Dead, this has got to be up there as one of the worst films ever made. This is why they should never remake a film, it's just pointless

Has anybody heard anything about a Night Of The Living Dead animated prequel called Origins? It sounds awesome.

Sorry, not heard anything about it.  In my "to watch" pile, I have the Night of the living dead remake to watch which I hear is dire (the Sid Haig 3D version).  I'm a sucka for 3D films.

No, thats a different remake (and not a bad film, even though the ending is not as good as the original).  The 3D remake has Sid Haig holding a pitch fork on the cover and he's the main star.  I believe it was made after the Tom Savini version.
