THE WARRIORS comic strip

Post by Goose »

Hi everybody,
My name is Jamie Warr ( http://www.portentcomics.com ) and I am interested in doing a comic strip exclusively for this site about mine and your heros.
If you are an artist and would be interseted in this project then please contact me with a sample of artwork and I will get in touch.
Unfortunately this is for the love of comics and nobody can be paid for thier contributions.
Incase you are wondering I am a writer and I have had my work published (CowBoy Jack among others)
Cheers

Welcome Jamie. There are some good artists on this site (Harley's recently produced some nice sketches) so you shouldn't have much trouble! Sign up here folks, a Warriors comic would be so cool! Jamie's site shows that this would be a quality production!!
The one and only!

Hello friend, first of all I must point out that I am only a writer as art (if I am honest) is not my strong point. So I write and make Artists have nightmares ha, ha
I have been writing for about two years now properly and I have had a few of my comics published for everybody to buy.
COWBOY JACK being my first foray into the world of comic writing.
I love to read many comic and there are to many to list here but I am a sucker for any Marvel heros and I have a "Very" soft spot for the ole'web slinger Spider-man. I would also recommend Robert Kirkmans "the Walking Dead" (Guess what that is about...hmmm)

What I am hoping to achieve at some point is to actually start getting paid for my work but as Portent Comics is only a small press company run by a good friend of mine it is (at the moment) self financed.
With the WARRIORS strip I would like to contribute an original comic strip which I wrote last year just off the cuff which involves Warriors we did not see (remember Cleons speech about "Out of 120 members Ive picked you") and what happens in Cony Island when our heros are away.

I hope that helps :D
