and the new nightmare on elm street looks a bit cack too

I only really plan on seeing the new Elm Street because I like the actor who's playing Freddy, and I'm curious about how he'll do.

If they could afford him, I think Harvey Keitel would make a great Quint. Adrian
BRODY could play the police chief, since they already share the same last name. 

Actually, now that I think of it, Adrian Brody would also make a pretty good Sully
in a straight Warriors remake.

jeff bridges is playing rooster cogburn in the remake of true grit...he might do quint justice,
i'd like to see mickey rourke as quint...

3,ROBOCOP---already being made. There is a teaser poster for this already.
4,ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK----believe it is in the script writing stage

6,MAD MAX
7,JAWS---believe this has just gotten the go-ahead. Talks of Tracy Morgan as Hooper.
8,TOTAL RECALL
9,GREMLINS
10,WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT----script being written for #2

I put in red the status of remakes, re-imaging or re-dos of the above flicks. Hollywood is out of fresh ideas and the old flicks have a fan base built in. There are MANY remakes, re-do, re-imaging and sequels in the works.

I have a great idea! Why don't they remake crap films. then at least there would be an actual point to it. trying to make a crap film good.

I agree with you on most of them they should never try and remake the warriors it will just end up being a bad movie if they do and give the original warriors movie a bad name disgrace its legacy so yea i definitely agree with you on that one and a couple of others on there also.
