Anyone remember the Garbage pail kids craze back in the 80's?

Great WARRIORS reference but I think these were a rip-off the GARBAGE PAIL KIDS. GPK all had the GPK logo and this has NEW YORK KIDS.

Garbage pail kids was such a wierd and short lived phenomenon. I look back and wonder how this was such a big deal when I was in elementary school. Great find though!

I think what made it such a big deal was how much parents hated them. Much like how their parents hated Mad Magazine. yea they were cool too because cabbage patch kids were big at the time and that was sort of a spoof on that

When I saw this topic I was like, oh yes I remember this. The characters were great. But sometimes disgusting.... I remember one of them that pissed his pants, forgot the name of him though.. Ah..
