I don't really care which one is next, as long as they don't make different one every few months, my budget wouldn't handle it. Think that one per year would be bearable.

If someone's interested in buying Ltd edition red and black Fury from Sideshow, just register on their 'waitlist'.
A friend of mine has done so last week, and the very next day he got an email from Sideshow saying that his waitlist status has been upgraded into an order, cos someones order has been cancelled. I guess a lot of people pre-ordered the item, then later on they change their mind.

Lol, exactly my reaction when he told me that!

As I said, it's probably because lot of pre-orders got cancelled. Sideshow has recently (December or January) closed their European warehouse, and is now sending item to Europe from their US warehouse. I guess for people from Europe who pre-ordered the statue it means more expensive delivery charges, and custom fees. That is a reason good enough to cancel your order and buy the statue from some European retailer (eg. Play.com).

A friend of mine who ordered this figure has received and email from Sideshow informing him that the figure has been delayed by the manufacturer until further notice!  The saga continues...

This is TOO funny! This is why I can't see them all being sold. They probably knew of this and just changed to sold out because they didn't want to sell a product they probably aren't getting.

They've stabbed themselves in the back. I mean, I would think twice before buying something from such an unprofessional company like this one, and probably a lot of people thinks the same.

And on 9th, they've changed it to 16th of April. Something's telling me that on 16th they will change it to the 23rd of April, lol!  :x

SIDESHOW is saying June of 2010 and that it is still a wait list. Who bought these?

Someone like AUCTIONPANTS on Ebay might have bought them all, that's the seller who bought all the SDCC photo variant comics. I think he made the mistake of putting them up for sale too often, if he'd left longer between each sale he would have made a lot more money as people would think it was harder to get.
I reckon if you own them all then when it comes to selling them you know it's rare to everyone because you've got them all.
This is what TOYWIZ have done with the green/white fury. I'd expect to be seeing these 18" furies on ebay for really high prices.
**I got an inkling it's gonna be the one the children bicker over, it's that warriors vs baseball fury element that glitches motor sensory developement, i am a star really,**

Get yourself an old GI joe in a baseball uniform and a pot of yellow paint.  You'll be able to pose it better and it'll cost a damn lot cheaper than these statues.

I have more interest in seeing what these talking bobble heads are going to turn out like.

18" Baseball Fury - NOT HAPPENING!!!

Post by Cyrus »

A friend of mine who ordered this statue has received an email from Sideshow today. This is what they say:
We are contacting you today in regards to your order for the Baseball Fury Statue you currently have on Flexpay with our company.  We have been notified by the manufacturer, Pop Culture Shock, that they will not be making either version (regular or exclusive) of the Baseball Fury Statues (item #900580flex & #9005801flex).  As such, we unfortunately must cancel all pending orders in our system for these items.
So, it looks like there won't be any Warriors 18" statue series after all, unfortunately! :?
