Germans played great against Australia, Podolski's goal was a real bomb, there's no way Australian goalkeeper could stop that!

Just watched Slovakia Vs New Zealand game. Great finish, New Zealand scored an equalizer in 3rd minute of extra time! Bet the Slovakian fans weren't too happy, their team drew with the side that has only one professional football team, who's playing in the Australian league!

yep thats a good point, we had a festival locally during the Australia game and I was trying to work out whether there'd be more ruckus if we won or lost - so a draw was probably the best result for the sake of the town  :lol:

i made a bet with my girfriend that Switzerland would win. Wish it was a proper bet lol

yep, d'oh... tho im not really a gambling man... which is probably good with a tendancy to bet on the underdog

I know Spain lost today, but after watching the match I can't help but feel they might be a good bet for winners. Some of the football they played at times was awesome. 8)

Definitely! Despite today's defeat, Spain is still a strong candidate for winning this World Cup. They didn't play bad today, they were just unlucky.
