How Bruce Lee changed the World
How Bruce Lee changed the World
I saw this on the history channel. He is one of my idols because his philosophy counld be applied to just about anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mJPOW39 ... re=related
I also believe that he had a big influence on, "The Warriors." What do the rest of you think?

I always think of the Riffs when Williams is at the karate club in Enter the dragon.

If i were to ask a recomendation to watch only one Bruce Lee movie, would Enter the Dragon be that one?

Re: How Bruce Lee changed the World
Suprised you havn't seen it already. Personally, I prefer Fist of fury, as its more of a traditional kung-fu flick and Enter the dragon was a bit too american-ised, but its a decent enough introduction to his movies. At 37 years old, its still better than most of the dross that hollywood is pumping out.4nik8 wrote: If i were to ask a recomendation to watch only one Bruce Lee movie, would Enter the Dragon be that one?

Re: How Bruce Lee changed the World
The whole Gracie family changed the ground game for sure, maybe in the next Warriors movie they can have a few grappling fight scenes. On a side note, there was a great fight scene at the end of Lethal Weapon with Gary Busey and Mel Gibson that used alot of Jiu Jitsu.chrismasonic wrote: Helio Gracie changed the way people fight...

Re: How Bruce Lee changed the World
Yes, Bruce Lee helped to change the world around him in his own way. The times
he lived in were a time of massive change to begin with, so he was a part of it all.
He difinitely was instrumental in introducing facets of eastern culture into the West,
thru his martial arts and interest in making films.
Before he came along, it was relatively unheard of for Asians to actually play Asians
in western films, or if they did they were just cooks or maids. He was a great
human being and an inpiration to entire generations. He was basically The Beatles
of martial arts.
Hey 4nik8, DIFINITELY watch "Enter the Dragon" again! Aside from being a great
martial arts film, it just epitomises that late 60's/early 70's era perfectly. Then watch
"Game of Death". Are you telling me you don't want to see Bruce Lee fight Kareem
Abdul Jabar?!

Re: How Bruce Lee changed the World
My favourite is Way Of The Dragon, Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris, unbeatable. Infact they're all great.
**I got an inkling it's gonna be the one the children bicker over, it's that warriors vs baseball fury element that glitches motor sensory developement, i am a star really,**
