my grandmother had a amazing time and it was a great show to see....those guys really do rock, i wasnt a huge stones fan ether but after seeing that...they put ALOT into each show....i give it much respect A+ show without a doubt

I went to see the Stone play in Sheffield about 10 years ago and yes they did and still do rock.

I don't know if it is true or not,
but it sounds "put up" to me, along the lines of tabloid publicity attention getter stuff. Gossipers love that type of crap to talk about on talk shows etc.

I mean, neither Mick or Arnold have real time for crap like that, and they certainly don't give two hoots what the other is doing.

Mick may love more ticket sales, but he certainly doesn't NEED Them at this stage in his career--he is already made, several times over.

You guys should see the film Gimme Shelter if you haven't already. It's a document of the Stones' concert at Altamont Speedway in 1969, and the days leading up to it. It really shows the band at their prime and makes a good case for their "World's greatest rock 'n' roll band" claim.

Justin got pelted, literally? I would have paid to see that. I want so badly to see the Stones in concert, but I didn't know they were even on tour until they played Fenway a few weeks back, so I miss my chance to get tickets.

i don't think i could watch the stones live.  i prefer studio sounds.  also the fact that some old bands add new members just doesn't cut it for me.

Haven't seen the Stones but I've seen a couple of 1960's legends who are still going; The Who and The Zombies and they were great performances. It's obviously not the same as back in the day - especially with dead members! But if people think that they're not worth seeing any more or they missed their chance by not being around when these bands exploded they're missing out!

Even though i'm not really a stones fan,Paint it black is stil one of my favorite tracks of all time.  It May have something to do with watching Tour of Duty many years ago.
