At the moment I don't think there are any vests currently out there which might be considered as "perfect" but there is plenty of advice available on this forum when it comes to authenticating a vest. Ninth Delegate is the resident vest expert and has given me advice in the past in relation to the look of my first vest.

Even if a "better" vest came along, at this point, after all the oiling of the leather I've done, I'd just keep mine

not to mention, it's the one worn on stage with the cast, so it has that sentimental value!

4nik8 you're a prime example about what I stated previously about authenticating a vest and making it your own so to speak. The work that you have put into your vest has been well documented on this site and are an example to others who may wish to purchase a vest and put their own mark on it to make it more individual.
