Re: JOAN JETT
Ya she is definitely a legend. I remember growing up, some of the older kids were into "The Runaways".
Those chicks could really rock! Cherry Curry, Joan Jett, Lita Ford and even Sandy West I would have to
say had a huge impact on female rock performers to come. They were really ballsy for their time.
Sorry I don't really have any cool stories about their concerts tho. They were big a couple of years before I
really began my Junvenile delinquent years!

In the late 70's, perhaps very early 80s, i was at a Joan Jett show in this TINY club in Brooklyn, Zappa's
I ended up right up against the stage, and knocked over one of the numerous plastic cups full of alcohol she had set out at the base of her microphone stand, upon which she graced me with a rather displeased scowl!

A film called The Runaways just got released, think it's a biopic of the band.

That's exactly what it is. It's pretty good too. Just a fun degrees of seperation thing too:
The guy who played "Mike Damone" in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" was in "Foxes" a few
years earlier with Jody Foster, Scott Baio and Cherry Curry.
In the new "Runaways" movie, he has a small part as Joan Jett's music teacher.
Cool story 4nik8. Don't worry, I am sure she had plenty more liquor!

That could be a very cool double feature. Especially if you have not seen either one. I don't know
witch one I'd watch first. Just dive in, and enjoy!
