STRAIGHT FROM CONEY VEST BACK ON eBAY. I like this vest, except the color under the piping. I like the base color and the vintaging of the patches (if it comes like the pics). A buck fifty ain't bad.

I bought one back in July for $119, I'm made up with the one I received. It still has the beige piping but the vintage detail is spot on. The leather has hardly any sheen like when they are brand new, the leather also appears soiled as well as scuffing to the warbird. The one on ebay is XL so I would advise that this vest should only be bought by someone who is 46 inch chest plus. I'm a 44 and the large fits me perfectly.

Back up again, with a $99.00 starting bid. I think it is from the original seller (9th can tell us as he is the expert on it). To me though, it doesn't look like a STRAIGHT FROM CONEY vest.

Yep, it's the original seller. He's selling it as he recieved it from his suppliers with none of his vintaging. 6 years on, and these vests are still wrongly cut.

Here's a picture of my "Straight from Coney" vest next to my "clean" Satan's Mother game vest which will give people an idea on how the vintaging looks. By the way the vests are exactly the same.

I wonder if dulling down the beige with a brown marker pen would look effective?

That would be a possibility though I must admit I don't think I'd try it as I'd probably cock it up!
