In some other thread, someone said the candy store was located near Ave. A and 1st St., and the Lizzies hide-out scene was on B'way and 104th or something like that.phillykid wrote: A few other locations that I'm trying to find are a little more difficult. they are as follows: 1) the candy store where the Rogues stop at and luther makes a phone call. 3) the exterior of the building where the lizzies take Rembrandt, Cochise, and Vermin back to their hangout.

That brick wall is a prominent part of the scene on Cooke Ct. Wondered what was on the other side of it. Canarsie Line (L), between the tunnel and B'way Jct. Eastern Pkwy station.
Today, I was thinking about all the scene locations, and concluded that none of the them were shot in the Bronx, except that the gas station and the Riffs hangout are still in question. The Riffs' place had to have been in some warehouse. Queens had a lot of those, or it could have been in Brooklyn. The city? Maybe. Same likelihood for the gas station.
I had to bring that up, because I remembered in one of the interviews, from the director's cut, somebody rattled off the places where they shot and the Bronx was one of them.
Guess I'd best be headed back up there. If 45th Rd. is where scene with the Orphans was shot, I better get some pics. Some neighborhoods close to Manhattan are threatened with redevelopment. Greenpoint is one. Gantry Plaza State Park area has been building apt. towers and that's within spitting distance from the Orphans.

Looking from Stilwell in that direction, I had a hard time seeing what was supposedly shown in the film.theSleepiLizzie_of_2006 wrote: Hey all...I found a picture of the station that the Warriors run to after they think the Orphans were running after them...kinda looks the same and I don't think its been reconstructed...the other is the picture of the train used in the Warriors picture...same station...but this a picture of the train being used on a daily basis...I tried to find pictures of the scene in the beginning of the movie with the train coming into the station...I'm still looking :p
does anybody know where that view was shot before Swan says "this is what we fought all night to get back to"...and it wasn't Coney Island/Stillwell Ave station view...I've been there and haven't seen that same view
I had been through New Utrecht station a few times, but y'day, I stopped and walked around. As a train junkie, I thought it was a cool place. You have the D which is elevated (the train where Vermin said "Hey, wait a minute. I gotta ask...."). And the N runs diagonally underneath, below street level (those tracks and platforms are visible, because they run through a cut).
The station house, where they barged in, is at one end of the cut (there's an interlocking tower above it, at the end of the D platform). At the other end of the cut is another station house just like it.
From the N platform, outbound, you see the backside of a factory bldg overlooking the station. I think it was seen before Ajax grabbed Mercy.
One thing I thought was goofy was when they got on the D, that train had left CI, but the camera people must have thought the angle was better there than for the outbound.
You guys still awake? lol

How annoying is it when someone posts good pictures, then moves their location (i.e. Photobucket) .nyfinest140 wrote:The ac Turnbulls scene 06/24/2008
