Walter Hill's image on poster

Post by Cochese »

...has it already been well documented on this forum that Walter Hill's image was used as one of the gang members on the poster artwork? This is old news, right?

A few of the artists friends and family made it on the poster, including himself. I never did recieve a reply from him.

Just a few basic questions I sent him.

what the initial brief was?
A lot of the figures have red headbands; was that part of the brief or a touch of creative license?
I recognise some aspects from production photo's; was there any reason behind swapping actors faces around?
Did Paramount studios give any instructions on which of the actors should be most dominant in your creation?
I read that both yourself and your room mate are in the background; did you use anyone else that you know or did you use models and stock photo's?
Who was the female model that's wearing the denim jacket with the carol name tag?
And lastly, are you aware of any reason that your peice was repainted and changed for the cover of the soundtrack?

Maybe I should start wearing a polkadot bow tie.
