High Proof Alcohol or Gasoline?

When Swan threw the molotov cocktail at that '69 Pontiac it ignited fast like gas. You can see Snow has the bottle when they first get on the train. I would think that a molotov cocktail would be considered a weapon and since the Warriors gave their word not to bring any weapons to the conclave do we assume that it was a bottle of high proof alcohol? Maybe they filled the empty bottle with gas sometime after. You can see it's pretty full when Snow hands it to Cowboy. If it were alcohol and that was me, it would have been long gone by then. What do you think?

They carry alcohol in the book so i'm assuming that's what Snow has in his bottle.
The rapid spreading fire would be for dramatic effect on the directors part. As far as I know, the only character that carried a means of lighting a molotave was Ajax (he smoked). No Ajax, no weapon.

I saw the Roger Hill interview page on this website and thought it was some kind of cruel joke since he was shot to death in 1979.
