I bought a silkscreened jersey a few years back just to wear around the house. I was bummed to hear the movie jerseys are light grey. Yet the ones on ebay are white.

Just stick some black clothes in the wash with your white jersey then next thing you know your white top will be grey, I know because my wife does it all the time!

Went through the forum and I wanted to comment on what's going on.

The "authentic" jersey's sold on ebay are not authentic. These are counterfeit products. The NHL, teams and players do not get any revenue sold from these jerseys.

I put this in the same boat as counterfeit high end fashion goods such as Louis Vuitton. Many people want to be associated with this brand, however many people simply cannot afford to pay for an authentic product; this is where counterfeiting the products come in. It offers the "same" look for a lot less.

The cost is so high for some of these products that people are unwilling to pay for it, so there is a gray market established to sell these products at a lower cost.

I have many friends who purchase such goods, and have no problem doing so. I think they are messed up for paying for counterfeit goods when you could spend more money and get something authentic. However, the same people think I'm crazy for paying full price for my goods. The decision to purchase authenic vs counterfeit comes down to personal choice.

I think it's the new spam tactic. Post a load of random crap then come back and add the spam links to their profile afterwards.

Maybe eliga needs to jog over to Riverside Park and contact the Baseball Furies marketing department to let them know about all the royalties they're owed off their merchandise! Satan's Mother had better watch out!
